I'm looking forward to reading Scrap City! Luckily, 4th-7th grade is right where I live. Emotionally and intellectually, anyway. Physically I may be nearer 80, especially in a pre-coffee state. But who's counting?

Actually I'll bet my daughter would like it too. She's six, but she likes to read, so she does. Hmm. We'll see.

Thanks for coming by! I'm honored and semi-humbled (given where I started, right?) to have Marvin Plotnik's author visiting my site. Such a damn good book...

Thanks for the kind review, David. Totally made my day.

I sent you a PM about some things here, writer-to-writer, but short version is I need to get on amazon to link those books.

SCRAP CITY is more a straightforward a-b-c-d story, for kids 4th-7th grade, and MARVIN PLOTNIK is a time-travelin' Crazy Town Romp Through Time and Space that was just flat-out fun to write. Most people don't LIKE footnotes. Just glad someone out there gets how fun they can be.

I'm told by SCRAP CITY's publisher, Capstone Young Readers, that they're happy with sales. It's only 6 months in on that one, hardcover and kindle only at this point, and goes to paperback in October. I suspect the kindle version will be discounted more by then.

Thanks, man. I just posted a review of MARVIN THE MAGNIFICENT. (Totally enjoyed it, but wished it were longer! More! More!) Meant to leave one ages ago. Apologies. Not sure how that slipped through, review-wise. The older I get, the more I forget!
