  1. Okay, wild man, please send me a free copy of Pagan Sex in your giveaway. It looks good. I like that you are enjoying being an Indie author. I published my first novel recently, and I love reading. Pagan Sex looks like it is right up my alley. Maybe I can live vicariously through you. Thanks, and good fortune!

Sent! And I have to say I think your website’s pretty awesome. After reading a bit, I went to Amazon and downloaded a sample of your thriller. I’m looking forward to sitting down with it for for a while.

Best of luck to you too!

(For others who find this page, the giveaway Daniel refers to will run through July 21, 2013.)

I quite fancy reading shiver on the sky. It looks intriguing

  3. This is a brilliant idea! It feels a lot more personal than the giveaways Amazon does, so congratulations for thinking it up! If I’m not too late, can I have Shiver on the Sky as a Kindle friendly download please? Many thanks. Just seen the tick boxes below… bravo!!!

Sent! And whether it’s brilliant or not, I’m looking for excuses to do it again sometime. The direct contact with readers is very cool.

This sounds like a lot of fun!! Tell you what, surprise me =) Shiver sounds great, so does Pagan Sex … you choose and send me what you will. I guarantee you I will a) read it and b) tell you what I think about it. As a happy Pagan of 20+ years, and an avid reader all my life, I live for fun stuff like this!! I have a Kindle Fire, as well as the Kindle App on my laptop, so e-book format would be great if possible, if not…well, for a good story, I’m willing to endure just about anything. Thnx!!

    • David

Done! I sent Shiver…hope you like it!

You have lots of ideas! I hope that inspiration is catching because you are making marketing, which I’m grappling with (or actually circling around) seem like it could be fun. I have a Kindle so if you feel like sending Pagan Sex that would be great, I’d look forward to reading it with a view to reviewing it.

Marketing? Hmm. Well, we’ll see what happens. But remember, as Madame Defarge should have said: It’s not the idea. It’s the execution. {8’>

Finding you here on this page, I say:

This is a really great idea. And for people who simply can’t do this, get someone who can.

You? You have this personably thing happening. A lot of people–too many writers–are afraid to even speak. And non-speaking doesn’t mean they don’t write GREAT!

Again, the Harlan Analogy is good here. Great idea! Definitely something to ‘use’ again.
