Just a quick note. For the record, I am not going to pursue building the service-oriented bits of Scarecrow. Nor am I going to go with the B2B stuff. Actually that’s nearly complete from a coding perspective, but I was thinking about bringing other people in…until it became clear that I’m spending my time elsewhere, and I’m glad to be doing it.
In fact, it may be a while before I post again in this blog. However:
- If I’ve promised you some freelance work, I will honor that commitment.
- If you’re a Scarecrow customer, it will continue to function. And I still value your input.
But the fiction-writing thing has really gotten under my skin, and I’m taking some time to see where that leads me. If you’d like to come along for the ride, you can find my other blog and/or my Facebook page, depending on your preference. So far I’ve published a novel and a collection of short stories. A second novel will be available in December.
I may return to the software world. Something had to give, though, and this turned out to be it. I’ll be otherwise engaged at least until the middle of 2013. At that point I’ll reevaluate.
